I definitely recommend Tailwind Global Pet for their CDC Import program. I brought my dog, Little Baldy, home from Shanghai, China's Pudong International Airport (PVG) to the US through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in early December of 2025. As part of the process for importing a dog from a rabies high-risk country, the pet must go straight from one of six designated airports to the CDC approved animal care facility and be checked out by a veterinarian and be readministered a US rabies vaccine. Tailwind is one of these approved animal care facilities at Los Angeles International Airport. Compared with the other facility listed, at which I was unable to reach anyone to speak with, Tailwind was very helpful and supportive, providing information even before I began the process to help me plan ahead. Once everything was in place, they helped me make sure I had all my documents in order, and then connected me with their team on the ground so I could provide my flight information. After a 12 hour long flight, I was so relieved that everything went very smoothly at the airport, and they were very communicative during the whole process. We contacted them to pick up my dog right after we finished with US Customs, and they took Little Baldy directly to the kennel for an overnight stay to be checked and revaccinated in the morning. They even sent updates and photos of Little Baldy in her kennel! Little Baldy is not an easy dog, as she is very anxious, but the team took great care of her and were very patient and kind. Then they contacted us to pick her up the next afternoon. I am very satisfied with their services and would definitely recommend! The only thing I'll say is that it was pretty expensive, since they are basically the only game in town that does this, but I knew it was going to be expensive to import a pet from overseas anyway. Thank you, Tailwind Global Pet, and in particular, Jasmin, Michael, and Brady, for helping me bring Little Baldy home!

The easiest way to travel with your pet! All you do is drop off and the rest is handled by the team. I wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way! Pico, my 7 year old cat, and I relocated to the UK from the US in December of 2025. We flew from LA to London. We provided a little over a 2 week notice of our travel arrangements, and the team made it happen flawlessly with no issues. The team is very flexible, helpful, and reassuring.

We’re committed to doing a crate job, whatever it takes.
