Unlike some pet shippers, here at Tailwind Global Pet, we personally handle everything from logistics to taking care of your pets before, during and after their flights. Our team will keep you in the loop with updates and photos throughout the process.

My dog flew direct from LAX to Frankfurt on Lufthansa. As a pet owner, I was understandably nervous—she had never flown before and, as a larger dog, had to travel in cargo. Tailwind made the process much less stressful by offering an all-in-one service. They handled everything from the travel crate and USDA paperwork to the veterinary appointments and export documentation.
One thing I especially appreciated was their location near LAX, which made logistics much easier. They also managed the flight booking and ensured my dog was on the same flight as me, which gave me peace of mind since I could confirm with Lufthansa staff that she was safely onboard.
My only feedback is that drop-off at the facility on departure day felt a little hectic and could have been more organized. However, that was a small part of an otherwise excellent experience.
Most importantly, my dog arrived in Germany safe, fed, watered, and very excited to see us. Tailwind also connected us with an agency on the German side to assist with the import process, which was incredibly helpful.
Moving a pet internationally is stressful, but Tailwind made the process as smooth as possible. I'm very grateful for their support and professionalism throughout the journey.
