After contacting several providers, Tailwind was one of the only companies able to handle this type of relocation, mainly due to the strict and complex import regulations in French Polynesia. We could have routed through France, which would have been significantly cheaper, but it would have added many extra hours of travel for our pets — something we did not want to put them through.
Our contact with Brady was clear, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process.
The main downside is the overall cost, which is quite high. However, given the limited options available for this route, we understood the constraints.
We did encounter an issue upon arrival in French Polynesia, caused by the airline removing documents from the sealed crates. This created a stressful situation, but Brady handled it quickly and efficiently by resending the required documents to the local authorities, allowing everything to be resolved.
Overall, despite the high cost and some unexpected issues, we would recommend Tailwind Global Pet for their expertise and ability to manage complex international pet transport.
