I am very grateful for this group of people, that helped me from the
very beginning, as I was at a loss, and confused when it came to deal with the CDC, and the different requirements that were asked of me. I was able to keep in contact with Jasmin, who guided me, and helped all the way for Gus and I to be reunited.

Brady and his team hit the ball out the park! Our three cats moved from LA to Edinburgh to live with my daughter and Brady was accessible and very communicative re: where we were in the process. I highly recommend, if moving dog, cat, ferret etc to get the crate from Tailwind ahead of time so that the animal (s) can get used to it. This proved so helpful when our cats had to be escorted in and the door closed. I cannot recommend Tailwind and Brady enough. Not only made the move so seamless but reduced the consequent anxiety immeasurably!

They saved our boy…..

A long and convoluted story, but the short version is this. We were transporting our pet from LA to Hawaii (our new forever home) through another service. Samson is a big dog and needed to travel via a cargo service. We planned the entire trip around him (including our flight days/times etc). We dropped off our perfectly healthy pup (complete with health certificate), the night before. He was to arrive before our flight landed.

We are on the tarmac, taxiing for take-off, when a text pops up “can you talk?”. “No, but I can text”. Apparently, their flight had to be turned back because of an aircraft complication. All the pets were in limbo for a few hours, while they fixed the issue. That’s when Tailwind Global was brought in.

Brady noticed that Samson seemed lethargic and not doing so well. Brady knows we are in the air, and quickly determines he needs to get to the vet. He made all the arrangements, but his instincts were right, he had a bad bout of bloat (and he needed emergency surgery). The first diagnosis was 20% chance of survival, and $11-$14k in surgery with no guarantees.

That first vet didn’t cut it; Brady didn’t flinch, he redirected (with precision). He spoke for me when I couldn’t (or when the previous vet treated Samson like an object or a number). They got him to the right vet, a wonderful woman who flipped those odds in our favor. It was my worst nightmare realized and I had zero chance of getting back before surgery.

I had to stay focused on getting him his surgery (aftercare discussions on hold) or we’d be too late for any aftercare. We elected the surgery, the Vet said that Brady saved his life. He caught it quickly, he recognized the symptoms, and knew what needed to be done. Erik, the young man who transported him, knew we couldn’t be there, so offered to stay until he was in surgery (so our boy wasn’t alone). It was honestly one of the kindest and nicest things anyone has ever done for us. He took pictures, he let us know what he knew as he received the info. They became an extension of our family, caring for him, as if Samson belonged to them.

Hours later the phone rings, and it is the vet – surgery was a success. She said, besides watching his heart after a big surgery like this, she expected a full recovery. Great, he is safe and well, and now, we need to figure out the post-surgery care aspect. I called family and friends. We contemplated staying in a hotel, but none of those options were optimal for Samson’s recovery. What we knew for sure is that he could not fly, until his stitches came out (2-3 weeks).

I am in full blown “what do we do now mode”, researching like a mad woman – Brady calls and his company offered to care for him, until he could fly home. That call ended with me in tears and in total disbelief that good people do exist.

They took exceptional care of him over the recovery weeks. They took photos, gave me updates, and hand fed him. They took him to have his stitches taken out, got an updated health certificate, and helped us coordinate the logistics back home. Samson arrived last night, and all I could do was appreciate that we were lucky to see him again and so very thankful to Brady, Erik and the entire crew at Tailwind Global for taking such good care of him. They care for your pets as if they were their own. You can’t ask for more than that.

Here’s the kicker with this review – we did not contract with them for this service; they got pulled into our situation by the service we did hire. They handled it with grace, love and care (the entire time).

Brady and the team will forever be honorary members of the Sickinger family. Words are not enough. Thank you —- is not enough.

I believe that we need more kindness in the world. I try to give kindness daily, but I have never received a level of kindness that matches the type of support I give. This team renewed my faith in humanity – this may be one of the greatest selfless acts I have ever witnessed and as a result, they have a raving fan, and I have a pup, who lives among us.

This is our guy, a day after surgery, in his gigantic cone 🙂

Reunited with Miles!

Thank goodness for Tailwind Global Pet, we were able to be reunited with our fur baby Miles.

Miles came all the way from the Philippines and LAX was the closest CDC Quarantine area in the west coast from Seattle. Tailwind made the process so easy & was able to pick him up upon arrival. I got updated photos when he arrived and Jamin was always so quick to respond to all my questions and worries. He had a VIP style arrival & was quite happy to be reunited with us. We definitely recommend this company!

Thank you so much Tailwind we are forever grateful!

!!! 5 star service from an all star staff !!!

My dog Azumy traveled from Peru to Portland with a layover in LAX for the CDC process, and when searching for the best and safest option we chose TAILWIND GLOBAL PET.

I want to thank all the staff (Jazmin, Brady and Mark especially). I called several times to ask questions, and we were in contact by email. They made me feel welcomed and safe. They were in contact with me throughout the whole process (even on WhatsApp), and when I landed in Los Angeles they arrived in less than 10 minutes to pick up Azumy. My dog was there at 10am and she was done being processed by 1:30 the same day. They texted me to let me know when she was ready so I could go pick her up.

They went the extra mile anytime they had the opportunity and helped me with the whole process for the kennel, placing the labels, and even gave me a blanket for her kennel. They verified that I met the requirements for Alaska Airlines and when they saw that I was alone and I was staying in a dicey motel they helped me by taking everything to my motel straight to the elevator.

I want to thank all the staff at Tailwind Global Pet with all my heart; my family is so grateful.

I would 100 percent recommend this wonderful staff, and amazing service!!!

Excellent Service

Thanks Brady and his reliable team on everything done for our two dogs. We flew from China to USA and the dogs need to stay overnight for physical exams and rabies re-vaccination. They took good care of the dogs and quick response to meet customer’s needs. Special thanks to Michael who help us a lot. I highly recommend their service!

Exceptional service!

Tailwind Global Pet boarded our little (5.5 lbs) rescue pup upon her arrival to Los Angeles from her saviors at Slaughterhouse Survivors in China. I spent the day traveling from Syracuse NY to pick her up and bring her home, and Kimberly was in contact with my wife and me the whole time; sending pictures and answering questions. She took my delayed flights in stride and saved me a lot of time and hassle by bringing our adoptee to the airport, freshly washed, I should add, and as cute as can be. Adopting a pet from the other side of the world is not a simple thing, but picking one up after a long day’s travel was, thanks to Tailwind and Kimberly.

Claude is nice in Nice!

Tailwind

Brady and the Tailwind team did an excellent job transporting our poodle Claude from San Francisco to Nice, France. From my very first conversation with Brady, to picking Claude up at the Nice airport, the service was thorough.

The process was clearly explained and the Zoom meetings started right on time.

I texted Brady the certificate when I was at the Vet ensuring we got all the proper, complete papers and certifications prior to

his voyage. The agent in France kept in touch, got him through customs and he arrived on time with a friendly welcome from the transporter. Also, at the last minute the original carrier cancelled Claude’s reservation and Brady immediately got him rebooked with no disruption of arrival date. Merci and gratitude to the entire Tailwind Team.

What a long and great experience

Hi everyone,

I’ve just completed the long and challenging task of getting my dog back from the United States and settled into Australia.

I’ve been working with Brady and team for over 8months and they have been fantastic in letting my know the steps and ensuring we kept on schedule.

I know I could not have done this without the Tailwind Global Pet teams help and I know that you will be in good hands when you ask them to help you.

THANK YOU team

From the United States (“the Land of the Free”) to Australia (“the Land Down Under”).

Making the decision to return to Australia was difficult for my wife and me; it required extensive research and planning.

With an increasing number of safety and regulatory compliances, getting things right the first time became even more important.

We knew we needed professional assistance when travelling with pets, nearly 10,000 miles from North America to Australia.

We provided Tailwind Global Pet with all our pets’ information, including photos, whether they are friendly or playful, their size, and everything else required for them to find a comfortable boarding experience where they are loved, preventing the experience of abandonment, and with someone who loves them as much as we do. – Thank you, Christina, for having a big heart and being like a godmother to our pets.

Thank you, Tailwing Global Pet, for your expert advice and help. – Thank you, Brady, for your excellent communication and clarity throughout this process.

We recommend Tailwing Global Pet to care for and transport your pets safely.
